Out-Fit Challenge is a 2013 sanctioned event at Miami Beach Gay Pride.  We, along with a few select organizations, have been chosen to offer attendees of Miami Gay Pride an experience they won’t forget.

Join us on Saturday April 13 and Sunday, April 14th, 2013 for the hottest gay pride celebration in America!  Please go to www.miamibeachgaypride.com for more information.

Miami Beach Gay Pride brings together members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, their friends, allies, and supporters in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBT community by producing free, safe, quality mass-appeal events that are open to all, such as the Parade, Festival, and adjunct Miami Beach Pride sanctioned events.

Miami Beach has joined the ranks of world class cities like Sao Paulo, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Madrid that officially honor the LGBT community by hosting its fifth city-supported pride event April 12-14, 2013!

In 2008, the new Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower created a Gay Business Development Ad Hoc Committee, with a mission to bring recommendations to the Mayor and City Commission on initiatives to be implemented and supported by the City regarding a variety of issues to ensure the welfare and future of the Miami Beach LGBT community.

While being a gay mecca of the 1980s and 1990s, Miami Beach never had a city sanctioned Gay Pride Parade until April 2009.  With strong support from the newly elected mayor Matti Bower, Miami Beach had its first Gay Pride Festival in April 2009. It is now an annual event.

In its first year, Miami Beach Gay Pride 2009 played host to nearly 15,000 attendees. MBGP 2010 brought over 30,000 attendees. When the Parade was moved to a Sunday, in 2011, we continued to grow with 40,000 and broke our record to 60,000+ in 2012.

Miami Beach Gay Pride, Inc. was organized in the state of Florida on July 1, 2008 to organize and fundraise for annual GLBT Pride event in Miami Beach.
